We collect information that is necessary for us to provide you with the Product or Service you have purchased or to enhance your customer experience. Such information includes your name and e-mail address.

When you enrol for a self-paced course on the Thinkific Platform, we keep any data you fill in yourself, such as your name and email address. Any quizzes, assignments or discussion comments you submit are also kept on the Thinkific Platform. Any personal data you enter for courses on the Thinkific Platform is kept for the duration that you keep the account open. You do not have to disclose any of this information to browse our site. However, you will be unable to purchase specific services or products if you do not provide the basic information requested.

If, or when, you interact with us on social media platforms, such as Facebook, we may obtain information about you. The information we receive will depend on the privacy preferences you have set on those social media platforms.

We may use your information for a number of different purposes, such as providing you with the Services or Products you purchase, providing tutor support via email or Zoom, sending you information or communications requested and notifying you of any changes to our Services or Products.

How do we store and process personal data?

Personal information provided when purchasing an online course or digital downloads are stored by Thinkific.  You can see their Privacy Policy here: Thinkific Privacy Policy  We can view some of your details, such as your name, email address and progress through the course, but this personal data is stored securely by Thinkific.

When you enrol on one of our courses on the Thinkific Platform, you will be asked to choose a password to enable you to access the online course and any other content.  You are responsible for keeping this password confidential and should not share this password with anyone.

Any email addresses or telephone numbers we obtain, such as through providing tutor support, are stored securely on the company’s computer and password protected.

How long do we keep personal data for?

  • We will only keep any personal information for as long as we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so. For example, to provide our services, such as tutoring support, or to comply with applicable legal, tax or accounting requirements.

  • When we have no ongoing legitimate business need in relation to your personal information, we will either delete or anonymise it.  If your personal information is stored in archived backups, these will be securely stored until deletion is possible.
